1. All hunters must be fully licensed in the state of Ohio. This includes either a resident or non-resident hunting license and a special deer permit. Ohio requires a hunter safety course or proof of having a prior hunting license to obtain a license for the first time. Licenses can be purchased online at www.dnr.state.oh.us or over the counter.
2. Each hunter shall abide by all State of Ohio Game and Fish requirements and regulations.
3. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs at any time.
4. All hunters must sign release/waiver forms.
5. Before entering any tree stands or other above ground stand, whether placed by the hunter or someone else, each hunter shall inspect the stand to be sure it is properly assembled and that it is properly attached, braced and fastened so it can be used safely.
6. A safety harness must be worn by each hunter and properly attached when using any tree stand or other above ground stand.
7. ATVs cannot be used to retrieve game. Only associates of Gustin Farms Whitetail Bow Hunting can use ATVs to retrieve deer that has been shot or for moving equipment. A helmet must be worn by anyone operating or riding on an ATV.
8. Archery hunting only (crossbow and bow) only. No firearms are to brought on Gustin Farms Whitetail Bow Hunting property.
9. Ohio allows a hunter to take only one buck per year. If a hunter shoots at a buck and believes it was a missed shot, the hunter and associate must make all efforts to make sure it was a clean miss before shooting at another buck. The game warden will be notified in the event a hunter takes two bucks.
10. Hunting property lines are marked with fluorescent orange paint on the trees or fence posts. Most of the hunting property lines are fences which are no longer maintained. Do not cross a hunting property line to hunt. Do not shoot across a hunting line. If a hit deer runs to an adjoining property, mark the spot so you can find it and contact an agent before entering the adjoining property. Make sure the blood trail starts on the hunting property. 11. Any hunter who is observed violating Ohio Game and Fish requirements and regulations may be asked to leave the property with no refund.
12. Any hunter who acts or behaves in a dangerous, irresponsible or negligent manner may be asked to leave the property with no refund.
13. All rules are subject to change or revision. Verbal rules given at the time of the hunt may take precedence over printed rules.
14. There will be no tolerance for littering on the property. You must leave property as clean as you found it.
15. No bucks under a 130 score will be shot. Deer shot under pre-designated antler size will be charged a fee of $500.00.
16. Due to livestock on the property all gates and fences must be kept closed at all tim.es
